Photography’s blessing and curse is that it can bend reality — a curse in that it creates unattainable ideals, a blessing in that you can choose to look back on imperfect times with a more forgiving filter.

Clumps of mud can look like a cluster of islands against the sunrise…

There’s a lesson there somewhere, I think.

  1. Beautiful interpretation of the challenge. Never thought that small clumps in the water could look like small islands…and you showed they certainly do 🙂 Poignant poem at the end. It’s never an easy decision to forgive oneself. But when we do, we will feel so much more free and we will be able to focus on bettering ourselves inside once again, and more forward in the world 🙂

    1. Thank you Mabel! I’m currently browsing your blog and omg I can’t tell you how happy I am to meet another non-drinker! But I’ll comment there. Lol. xo

      1. I am certainly still a non-drinker today. Not ashamed of it too 😀 It is so nice to connect with another blogger from the Philippines 😀
