Applying for a visa is one of my least favorite things about travel. For me, there’s something almost traumatic about having to prove your innocence to people who can deny your application without having to prove your guilt. (I’m looking at you, US Embassy.)

But enough of my hang-ups. 🙂 Visa applications are a necessary evil for Filipinos traveling to most countries outside the ASEAN region, and that’s that. The best way to ensure success is to know as much about the process and the requirements as possible.

    • Hi Roxanne!

You can read all about the visa application process for Spain here:

The requirements for the tourist visa can be found here:

In your case, if your friend is shouldering all your expenses, you will have to submit proof of his/her financial capacity and proof of his/her willingness to pay for everything.

      Good luck! 🙂
