Budget

If you catch a piso sale, share a room with a friend, eat at warungs, and generally live frugally, a budget of P20,000 should last you a good 4-7 days.

How to get to Bali
*
From the Philippines, there are several options:
- If you’re in or near Manila, you can take Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines, both of which operate direct flights to Bali.
* - If you’re in or near Cebu, you can go to Manila and fly from there to Bali. Alternatively, you can fly AirAsia from Cebu to Kuala Lumpur, then from Kuala Lumpur to Bali. I like the second option better as it gives me the chance to visit two countries (and I personally find KL easier to navigate than Manila).

How much pocket money should I have?^_^
I’m from Cebu.~
Hi Sheryl!
It really depends on how many days you’ll be there, what type of accommodations you go for, where you’re going to eat, whether you’ll join tours or not, etc. I’m planning to list down some of our expenses, just to give people an idea of the prices there. For the meantime, though, I’ll just give your our estimated budget for the entire trip (including KL) — PHP 30,000 for 10 days, that includes everything na. Our actual expenses may differ a bit. Ako lang to i-prioritize ug post ang price list para maka-help if you’re planning to go there. 🙂
Thanks a lot!~^^
Hi!!!! Nice blog about bali. Can i ask, if i already had a tour (4d3n, including arefare, accommodations, breakfasts) for bali, will 10k be enough as pocket money?! Ty advance for replying. 🙂
Hi! Oh, yes, 10k will definitely be enough. 🙂 Have a great Bali trip. 🙂
Thanks!!! Looking forward for my trip.
Is okay if I bring my eprepaid visa card instead of a credit card or my bank card? how much cash should i bring to the airport? do they usually check that?
Hi deeblissful! I don’t think it matters that much what kind of card you bring. I’ve never tried being asked to show the cards or cash I’ve brought but I know some have. I think it depends on if, based on your other info, they think that something is off and there’s a good chance you’re not being truthful (example going abroad as a tourist but actually planning to work there).
